The best vintage red glass ashtray depends on whether you want a decorative set, a roomy everyday dish, or a distinctive design. Crystalia is best for shoppers who want two red glass ashtrays, while the Cookies C-Bite and frosted red skull styles offer more graphic looks. Excelsa is a simple red round option. The square crystal-style ashtray is orange rather than red, so consider it only if you are open to a warm alternative color.

Crystalia Red Glass Ashtray Set Of Two
Best for: Buyers who want matching red ashtrays for more than one tabletop or a coordinated home setup. This set includes two round glass ashtrays and is described as suitable for indoor or outdoor use, including home, office, patio, and restaurant settings.
The product description highlights a deep, large container intended to hold ashes and cigarette butts. Its brightly colored body and base are also presented as decorative features, making it a fit for shoppers seeking a vintage-inspired accent as well as a functional ash holder. It is selected for its red color, two-piece set, and stated capacity.
Consideration: The listing does not provide exact dimensions, so compare the available tabletop space before choosing it if size is important.
Excelsa Round Red Glass Ashtray
Best for: Shoppers who want a straightforward red glass ashtray without a stated logo or decorative motif. The supplied product details identify it as a red glass ashtray with a 10.5 cm diameter, making it easier to compare with other compact round options.
Its simple round format can suit buyers who want color to provide the visual accent rather than a busy pattern. It is included because the listing directly specifies both red glass construction and a defined diameter.
Consideration: The product information is limited to material, color, and diameter. It does not specify depth, cigarette rests, or whether it is sold as a set, so check the listing details if those features matter.
Cookies C-Bite Red Glass Ashtray
Best for: Buyers who prefer a larger, branded ashtray with a contemporary graphic identity. This round glass dish measures 5.5 inches in diameter and features an etched Cookies C-Bite logo.
The listing describes the glass as ultra-thick and heavy-duty, and says its smooth surface wipes clean. Its stated size is useful for shoppers who want more table area for ashes, tips, and roaches than a compact dish may provide. Choose this if brand artwork is part of the appeal; choose a plainer option if you want a traditional, unmarked vintage look.
Consideration: The product description emphasizes the Cookies logo, so it may not suit buyers looking for an understated or period-style design.
Frosted Red Skull Glass Ashtray
Best for: Shoppers who want red frosted glass with a bold skull-and-crossbones graphic. The ashtray measures 4.25 by 1.25 inches, according to its name, and the listing describes four rests for placing cigarettes.
The stated material is thick lab-grade borosilicate glass. Its red frosted finish and repeated black skull design make it more of a statement piece than a plain red dish. It is selected for buyers who value a distinct graphic and want multiple rests.
Consideration: The skull motif is prominent, so avoid this option if you want classic, neutral glass decor. Its listed dimensions are smaller than the 5.5-inch Cookies ashtray.
Vintage Square Orange Glass Ashtray
Best for: Buyers open to orange glass who want a compact square shape with cigarette rests. The listed dimensions are approximately 3.6 by 3.6 by 1.5 inches. Its two card slots are described as helping keep a cigarette from rolling off.
The product description calls the surface smooth, shiny, and easy to wipe clean. It is suggested for home, office, porch, balcony, and other settings. This option earns a place as a color-adjacent alternative, but it is not red, so it is not the closest match for shoppers who need a specifically red ashtray.
Consideration: The listing identifies the color as orange. Choose another product in this guide if matching a red-glass collection is essential.
Buying Guide: How To Choose A Vintage Red Glass Ashtray
Which size and shape fit your space?
Check the listed dimensions against the surface where the ashtray will sit. The Excelsa round model is 10.5 cm across, while the Cookies ashtray is 5.5 inches in diameter. The square alternative lists a footprint of about 3.6 by 3.6 inches. Crystalia does not provide dimensions in the supplied details, so confirm its size before buying if space is limited.
Do you want a plain look or a decorative design?
For a simple red appearance, consider the Excelsa round ashtray. Crystalia adds a brightly colored base and comes as a pair. Cookies features etched branding, while the frosted skull option has a bold graphic. The square design is orange, not red, and offers a more geometric look.
What should you check for everyday use?
Compare stated capacity, rests, and cleaning details. Crystalia describes a deep container, the skull design lists four rests, and the square model has two cigarette slots. Cookies is described as having a smooth surface that wipes clean. Product descriptions do not provide every detail for each item, so verify any feature that is essential to your use.
