Buying Guide
- Placement and mounting: Choose signs designed for window mounting, door display, or desk use based on where customers most often look for status updates.
- Visibility and readability: Prioritize signs with bold colors, large fonts, and high-contrast lettering to ensure quick recognition from a distance.
- Durability: Consider weatherproof or weather-resistant options for outdoor use, and durable materials like acrylic, vinyl, or treated wood for long-term exposure.
- Two-sided vs. single-sided: Double-sided signs provide visibility from multiple angles, while single-sided signs may be sufficient for compact spaces.
- Installation ease: Look for signs with minimal setup—suction cups, stand bases, or no-installation designs—to reduce maintenance time.
- Style compatibility: Match the sign’s aesthetic with your storefront or interior design to maintain a cohesive brand image.
- Size considerations: Larger signs offer greater visibility but may obstruct space; balance size with doorway clearance and window area.
- Message clarity: Ensure the terms “Open” and “Closed” or equivalent phrases are unambiguous and easy to read at a glance.
