A heavy fabric shower curtain can hang more steadily than a lightweight curtain and add texture to a bathroom. Among these 72-by-72-inch waffle-weave options, Dynamene’s 256 GSM curtains are best for shoppers who want a heavier fabric and included hooks. The AmazerBath 240 GSM curtain is a strong alternative for buyers who prefer a bright white finish and machine-washable care, but hooks are not included. The Dynamene options share the same listed construction and differ mainly by color.

Dynamene White 256 GSM Waffle Curtain
Best for: Shoppers seeking a heavier white fabric curtain with a textured hotel-style look. Dynamene lists a 256 GSM polyester fabric with a cotton-like feel and honeycomb waffle weave. The 72-by-72-inch curtain has 12 rust-resistant grommets and comes with 12 plastic hooks.
The weighted hem is intended to help limit billowing. The listed fabric is water-, oil-, and stain-repellent, and the product description says it allows light through while providing privacy. Choose this version if you want white and value the included hooks. One limitation: the supplied hooks are plastic, not metal.
Dynamene Sage Green 256 GSM Curtain
Best for: Buyers who want the heavier Dynamene construction in sage green. Its listed specifications match the other colors in the range: heavyweight polyester at 256 GSM, a waffle pattern, a weighted hem, 12 rust-resistant grommets, and 12 included plastic hooks. The standard 72-by-72-inch size is designed for a typical shower-curtain setup.
The description also identifies the fabric as water-, oil-, and stain-repellent. This makes the sage option a color-led choice rather than a different construction choice. Avoid choosing it based on an expectation of special care instructions; none are provided in the product details.
AmazerBath White 240 GSM Waffle Curtain
Best for: Shoppers who want a thick white polyester curtain with stated machine-washable care. At 240 GSM, it is lighter by fabric weight than the 256 GSM Dynamene options, while still described as heavier than ordinary 90 GSM curtains. Its 72-by-72-inch size and waffle weave suit buyers looking for a simple textured white style.
The listed care directions are machine wash in cold water and dry quickly. The product description also says the curtain has a tight hem intended to help avoid shrinkage and deformation. A key limitation is that the package includes the curtain only; hooks are not included. The listing also distinguishes shiny bright white from a separate matte-white choice.
Dynamene Navy Blue 256 GSM Curtain
Best for: Buyers who prefer navy but want the same listed features as the Dynamene white curtain. This 72-by-72-inch polyester option has a 256 GSM fabric, a honeycomb waffle texture, weighted hem, 12 rust-resistant grommets, and 12 plastic hooks. The description says its fabric repels water, oil, and stains.
Choose this version when color is the main deciding factor and a darker blue suits the bathroom palette. Its listed feature set does not indicate a construction upgrade over the other Dynamene colors. The package includes plastic hooks, so shoppers wanting a different hook material will need to provide their own.
Dynamene Black 256 GSM Curtain
Best for: Shoppers choosing a black curtain with a substantial fabric weight. Like the other Dynamene colors, this version is 256 GSM polyester, measures 72 by 72 inches, and uses a waffle weave with a weighted hem. It includes 12 rust-resistant grommets and 12 plastic hooks.
The listed water-, oil-, and stain-repellent properties may appeal to buyers seeking a fabric described as easy to keep looking clean. The product information does not provide care or washing instructions, so check the label before cleaning. Choose it for its color and shared Dynamene features, rather than for a distinct material advantage.
Buying Guide: How To Choose A Heavy Fabric Shower Curtain
How much fabric weight should you look for?
GSM means grams per square meter and indicates fabric weight. In this selection, the Dynamene curtains are 256 GSM and the AmazerBath curtain is 240 GSM. Both are substantially above the 90 GSM comparison cited in their product descriptions. A higher GSM can help identify a heavier option, but it does not by itself establish durability or water protection.
Do you need hooks in the package?
Check the package details before ordering. Each listed Dynamene curtain includes 12 plastic hooks and has 12 rust-resistant grommets. AmazerBath includes no hooks. If you already have hooks or rings, the included set may matter less; otherwise, factor the missing hooks into your shopping checklist.
What size and care details should you check?
All five options are listed as 72 by 72 inches. Measure the shower opening and check how the curtain should hang before choosing that standard size. Care information differs: AmazerBath specifies cold-water machine washing and quick drying, while the provided Dynamene details do not list washing instructions.
Which color and construction fit your bathroom?
Compare the available colors with existing towels, tile, and fixtures. The Dynamene products share the same stated weight and features, so white, sage green, navy blue, or black is mainly a style decision. The AmazerBath option is also white, with a 240 GSM weight and stated wash directions.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are these shower curtains all 72 by 72 inches?
Yes. Each of the five product descriptions lists a 72-by-72-inch size.
Which option has the highest listed fabric weight?

Its product details say it can be machine washed in cold water and dries quickly.

The product details describe fabric properties but do not specify that a separate liner is unnecessary. Check your shower setup and the curtain’s care information when deciding whether to use one.
