Day of the Dead pillow covers add colorful sugar skull, marigold, and Mexican-inspired details to sofas, beds, and seasonal displays. The MEHOFOND and FARMNALL four-piece sets are best for refreshing several 18-by-18-inch pillows at once; ZAEW is another 18-by-18-inch option, while AVOIN suits buyers looking for a narrower lumbar-style cover. OBSEDE is included only as a general floral alternative: its listed name does not identify a Day of the Dead design.

MEHOFOND Sugar Skull Covers
This set includes four Day of the Dead pillow covers made from linen fabric. The listed details describe the material as sturdy, textured, and breathable. The designs are printed on one side, so the reverse does not have the same printed design.
Best for: Buyers who want several coordinated covers and prefer a linen-fabric option. The four-cover pack can refresh multiple cushions, and the sugar skull theme fits seasonal displays and Day of the Dead decor.
Keep in mind: Pillow inserts are not included. Check that you already have, or plan to buy, inserts sized for 18-by-18-inch covers.
ZAEW Sugar Skull Covers
ZAEW’s Day of the Dead cover is listed as 18 by 18 inches and made from 100% polyester burlap fabric. The product description highlights wrinkle resistance and wear durability, along with designs intended to add a distinctive decorative detail.
Best for: Buyers seeking a polyester option for an 18-inch cushion, especially if wrinkle resistance is a priority. It is a single-cover choice based on the supplied product name and description, rather than a stated multi-cover set.
Keep in mind: The provided details do not specify whether an insert is included or provide care instructions. Confirm those details on the product listing before ordering.
AVOIN Skeleton Marigold Lumbar Cover
This AVOIN colorlife cover measures 12 by 20 inches, making it a narrower accent than the 18-inch square covers in this roundup. Its listed material is polyester or a polyester blend, and the description says it is machine washable. Care instructions specify cold water, a separate wash, and a gentle cycle; do not bleach.
Best for: Buyers who want a Day of the Dead skeleton-and-marigold accent in a lumbar shape. Its dimensions make it a different silhouette from standard square cushions.
Keep in mind: This cover will not match an 18-by-18-inch insert. Check your cushion measurements before choosing it.
FARMNALL Mexico Pillow Covers
FARMNALL’s package includes four polyester covers, each measuring 18 by 18 inches. The description highlights warm tones and Day of the Dead-themed printed designs, and identifies the covers as suitable for home decor and holiday celebrations. The fabric is described as lightweight and sturdy for daily use.
Best for: Buyers decorating several cushions for a party or seasonal room refresh. Compared with a single-cover option, this set provides four matching covers in the same size.
Keep in mind: Inserts are not included. The listed information does not state specific washing instructions, so check the product details before cleaning.
OBSEDE Floral Mandala Covers
The supplied product name describes a set of four 18-by-18-inch boho floral mandala covers. It does not identify a sugar skull, skeleton, marigold, or Day of the Dead design, so it is not a direct match for shoppers seeking themed pillows.
Best for: Buyers who want a general floral alternative in a four-cover set, rather than a specifically Day of the Dead look. This option is included for comparison, not as a themed recommendation.
Keep in mind: The supplied product information does not include fabric, care, or insert details. Check the listing for those specifications before buying.
Buying Guide: How To Choose Day Of The Dead Pillow Covers
Which size fits your pillow insert?
Match the cover dimensions to the insert you own. The MEHOFOND, FARMNALL, and ZAEW options are listed as 18-by-18-inch covers; AVOIN is 12 by 20 inches. A cover with different dimensions may not fit your insert as intended, so measure before ordering.
Do you need one cover or a set?
Choose a multi-cover pack if you are dressing several cushions or coordinating a room. MEHOFOND and FARMNALL each include four covers. ZAEW’s supplied description identifies an 18-by-18-inch cover but does not state a set quantity. Confirm the package contents before checkout.
Which fabric and care details matter?
Compare the listed material with your priorities. MEHOFOND is described as linen, while ZAEW and FARMNALL are polyester options. AVOIN specifically lists machine-washing directions. Do not assume that every cover has the same care method; consult its product instructions.
Are pillow inserts included?
MEHOFOND and FARMNALL explicitly state that inserts are not included. The supplied details do not confirm insert inclusion for the other options. Treat these products as covers unless the listing clearly says otherwise.
How should you compare the designs?
For an unmistakable Day of the Dead theme, prioritize descriptions that name sugar skulls, skeletons, marigolds, or Dia de los Muertos. OBSEDE is described as floral mandala decor, so it is a general alternative rather than a themed pick.
Frequently Asked Questions
What size are most of these Day of the Dead pillow covers?
Several listed options are 18 by 18 inches. AVOIN is a 12-by-20-inch lumbar cover, so check dimensions rather than assuming every cover is square.
Do these pillow covers come with inserts?
MEHOFOND and FARMNALL state that inserts are not included. For other products, the supplied details do not confirm whether an insert is included.
Which option is sold as a four-piece set?
MEHOFOND and FARMNALL are explicitly described as four-cover sets. OBSEDE’s name also identifies a set of four, but it is not listed as a Day of the Dead design.
Which cover has machine-washing instructions?
AVOIN lists machine-washing instructions: wash separately in cold water on a gentle cycle, and do not bleach.
Are all five options Day of the Dead themed?
No. The first four product descriptions identify Day of the Dead or related Mexican holiday designs. OBSEDE is described as a floral mandala set and is included only as a non-themed alternative.
