The best bed sheet cover with a zipper depends on your mattress size, depth, and whether you want a fitted sheet or full mattress encasement. HunnmingRe is a full-size microfiber option for mattresses up to about 16 inches deep; PURE ECO offers a full-size set with a base and two zip-on sheets; and ZIVZIV is designed as a waterproof, six-sided queen encasement. The options below also include twin, king, and queen fitted sheets, so check the stated dimensions before choosing.
| Product | Best for | Size or depth detail |
|---|---|---|
| HunnmingRe Zippered Protector | Full-size microfiber cover | Up to 16 inches |
| PURE ECO Full Zipper Fitted Sheet | Extra zip-on sheet changes | Full; up to 16 inches |
| Mattress-Homes Zippered Sheet | Twin beds | 10-inch drop |
| Bright Bedding King Sheet | King beds with shallower mattresses | Up to 10 inches |
| ZIVZIV Mattress Encasement | Queen mattress protection | 10–11-inch depth |
HunnmingRe Full Zippered Mattress Protector
This full-size zippered fitted cover is made from microfiber and measures approximately 75 by 51.97 inches, with a depth of about 16.14 inches. The listing describes it as suitable for full mattresses no deeper than 16 inches. It includes one light gray sheet, rather than a multi-piece bedding set.
Best for: Full-size mattress owners who want a soft microfiber cover with a zipper and a neutral color. It was selected for its clear full-size fit and deep-pocket range. Check your mattress measurements carefully, since the listed cover dimensions and stated depth limit are not identical. The product details do not specify waterproof protection.
PURE ECO Full Zip-On Sheet Set
This full-size set includes one fitted base and two zip-on sheets. The base measures 54 by 75 inches and has a pocket designed for mattresses up to 16 inches deep. The listing describes a 100% Egyptian cotton sateen weave and an all-around zipper intended to help the sheet stay in place.
Best for: Buyers who want spare zip-on sheets without replacing the fitted base each time. The two-part design is the main reason it stands out for easier sheet changes. Confirm the included pieces meet your needs: the product is a fitted-sheet system, not a full mattress encasement. Its full-size fit is specific to the dimensions listed.
Mattress-Homes Twin Zippered Sheet
Made from brushed microfiber, this twin fitted sheet measures 39 by 75 inches and has a 10-inch drop. The listing highlights a soft, lightweight feel and a zipper designed to keep the sheet from slipping or bunching. The package includes one zippered fitted sheet.
Best for: Twin beds with mattresses that fit the listed 10-inch drop. This is a straightforward option for a smaller bed, including a guest room or child’s room, when a single fitted cover is needed. Avoid choosing it for a deeper mattress without verifying fit; the stated drop is shorter than the deep-pocket options in this guide. Waterproof protection is not listed.
Bright Bedding King Zipper Fitted Sheet
This white king fitted sheet measures 78 by 80 inches and is designed for mattresses up to 10 inches deep. Its listed material is microfiber, described as breathable and wrinkle-free, with a zipper closure intended to make installation and removal easier. The package contains one fitted sheet.
Best for: King-size beds with a mattress depth of 10 inches or less. It was chosen as the king-specific option, but its depth limit is lower than the 16-inch choices. Measure both the mattress and its depth before ordering, particularly if you use a topper. The listing describes a fitted sheet, not a waterproof full enclosure.
ZIVZIV Queen Waterproof Encasement
ZIVZIV is a queen-size, six-sided mattress encasement for a 60-by-80-inch mattress with a stated depth range of 10 to 11 inches. Its knit surface is intended to be slept on directly, and the listing describes a waterproof, oil-proof, and stain-proof top layer. It uses a full-enclosure design with a zipper.
Best for: Buyers who want a queen mattress cover that combines a sleep surface with mattress protection. Unlike a standard fitted sheet, it wraps all six sides. The listing cautions that its waterproof function is designed for minor spills; larger amounts of liquid should be absorbed promptly. Check the depth range, since it is narrower than deeper-pocket fitted sheets.
Buying Guide: How to Choose a Zippered Bed Cover
Should you choose a fitted sheet or a full encasement?
A zippered fitted sheet covers the top and sides in a sheet-style fit. A full encasement closes around the mattress and can cover all six sides. Choose a fitted sheet for a familiar bedding surface and a full encasement when all-around coverage is the priority. Do not assume every zipper sheet is waterproof; check the product description for that feature.
How do you check mattress size and depth?
Match the listed bed size—such as twin, full, queen, or king—to your mattress dimensions. Then measure its depth, including any topper you plan to leave in place. Compare that measurement with the product’s stated pocket, drop, or depth range. A cover that matches the bed size but not the mattress depth may not fit correctly.
Which material and package type should you compare?
Microfiber options in this selection emphasize a soft brushed feel, while the PURE ECO full set lists cotton sateen. Compare the stated fabric rather than relying on general claims about comfort. Also check whether the package contains one fitted sheet, a base plus zip-on sheets, or a full encasement. These are different formats and are not interchangeable.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is a bed sheet cover with a zipper?
It is a fitted sheet or mattress cover that closes with a zipper, helping secure the cover around the mattress. Some designs are fitted sheets; others fully enclose the mattress.
Does a zippered fitted sheet protect all sides of a mattress?
Not necessarily. Check whether the listing describes a full enclosure or six-sided coverage. A fitted sheet-style cover may cover the top and sides without enclosing the bottom.
Are all zippered mattress covers waterproof?
No. Waterproofing is a separate feature. Choose a product that explicitly lists waterproof protection if that is required.
Can a deep-pocket zippered sheet fit any mattress?
No. Deep-pocket limits vary by product. Measure your mattress and compare its depth with the stated fit range before buying.
