The best grey fabric storage bins depend on how many you need, how much space your shelves provide, and whether foldability or sturdier sides matter most. Amazon Basics offers six-packs in two sizes, while SONGMICS provides six- and eight-cube options. Household Essentials is a better fit for shoppers seeking poly-woven fabric and chipboard sides. Compare the listed dimensions and construction before choosing, especially if the bins need to fit a specific cube shelf.

Amazon Basics 10.5-Inch Fabric Cubes
Best for smaller shelves, closets, or storage compartments, this six-pack includes cubes measuring 10.5 by 10.5 by 11 inches. The compact size makes this option better for shoppers who want several bins without committing to the larger 13-inch format.
Each cube has one sewn-in fabric handle for portability. The lightweight fabric is described as durable and breathable, and the cubes are collapsible for space-saving storage when not in use. Choose this set if you want a multi-bin organizer in a relatively compact size.
Limitation: Each cube has one handle, rather than the two handles listed for the larger Amazon Basics set. Confirm the dimensions against your shelf opening before buying.
Amazon Basics 13-Inch Fabric Cubes
Best for larger cube compartments, this set contains six gray fabric bins measuring 13 by 13 by 13 inches. It offers more room per cube than the 10.5-inch Amazon Basics option, so it is better for shoppers whose shelving can accommodate the larger footprint.
Each bin has two sewn-in fabric handles, which provide grab points on both sides. The listing describes the cubes as lightweight, durable, and collapsible. Choose this set if bin size and two-handle portability are higher priorities than compact dimensions.
Limitation: The 13-inch dimensions may not suit smaller cubbies. Measure the shelf opening and available depth before choosing this larger set.
SONGMICS 11-Inch Storage Cubes, 6-Pack
Best for shoppers who want a stated capacity and a foldable structure, this six-pack of 11-inch cubes is rated to hold up to 11 pounds per box. The product description identifies non-woven fabric, thick cardboard, and a rigid structure as construction details.
Each cube has two handles. The heathered cattail gray fabric has a textured appearance, and bottom boards can be inserted to prepare the bins for use or removed so the cubes can fold for storage. Choose this set if the stated per-cube capacity and fold-away design suit your organizing needs.
Limitation: The listed capacity is up to 11 pounds per box; avoid choosing it for items that exceed that stated limit.
SONGMICS 11-Inch Storage Cubes, 8-Pack
Best for shoppers who need more matching compartments, this SONGMICS listing identifies a set of eight 11-inch foldable closet organizers. The larger pack count can help divide belongings across more bins than the six-cube sets in this selection.
Choose this option if the listed quantity and dimensions match your storage plan. The supplied product information does not detail its handles, construction, or weight capacity, so compare those details on the listing if they are important to your decision.
Limitation: The available product details are limited to the set size and 11-inch foldable organizer description; confirm additional specifications before purchase.
Household Essentials Dove Gray Bins
Best for shoppers seeking a more structured fabric bin, this six-piece set uses strong poly-woven fabric and reinforced chipboard sides. The dove gray finish is described as suitable for traditional, transitional, or minimalist interiors.
A grommet front handle provides a different style from the sewn-in fabric handles on the Amazon Basics and SONGMICS cubes. Choose this set if chipboard sides and a front grommet handle better suit your storage setup.
Limitation: The supplied details do not state bin dimensions or a weight capacity. Check the listing for fit and load information before selecting it for a particular shelf.
Buying Guide: How to Choose Grey Fabric Storage Bins
What size bins fit your shelves?
Measure the inside width, height, and depth of each shelf opening. Allow room to slide bins in and out. The products here include 10.5-inch, 11-inch, and 13-inch cube options, but the Household Essentials listing details provided here do not include dimensions. Do not assume that bins with similar names have identical measurements.
How many bins do you need?
Choose a six-pack for a smaller storage project or an eight-pack when you need additional compartments. Consider whether every bin will be used together and whether the shelf has enough openings. A larger pack is not automatically the better choice if it exceeds your available space.
Do you need collapsible bins or structured sides?
Collapsible cubes can be folded for storage when they are not in use. The SONGMICS six-pack includes bottom boards that can be inserted for use or removed for folding. Household Essentials lists chipboard sides for a structured build. Choose based on whether compact storage or reinforced sides matter more for your setup.
Which handle and capacity details matter?
Handle style varies: Amazon Basics lists one handle on its 10.5-inch cubes and two on its 13-inch cubes, while the SONGMICS six-pack lists two handles. Household Essentials uses a grommet front handle. Only the SONGMICS six-pack has a supplied weight limit: up to 11 pounds per cube. Check capacity details when storing heavier items.

Which bins have a stated weight capacity?
The SONGMICS 11-inch six-pack is listed to hold up to 11 pounds per box. The supplied details for the other products do not specify a weight capacity.
How can I check whether a bin will fit?
Measure your shelf opening and compare it with the product’s listed dimensions. Include clearance for pulling the bin out, and verify all three dimensions rather than relying on the product name alone.
