The best deep fitted sheet depends on mattress depth and whether you need a complete set or only a fitted sheet. For mattresses up to 16 inches, Utopia Bedding and CGK Unlimited offer four-piece queen sets. For extra-tall mattresses from 18 to 24 inches, CGK Unlimited and Hearth & Harbor provide deeper options, while the CGK king fitted sheet is a single-sheet choice.

Utopia Bedding 16-Inch Deep Queen Set
This four-piece set includes a queen fitted sheet, flat sheet, and two pillowcases. The fitted sheet is designed for mattresses up to 16 inches deep and has elastic around the edges to help hold it in place. The brushed microfiber is described as lightweight, smooth, and breathable, with wrinkle- and fade-resistant features.
Best for: Queen beds up to 16 inches deep, including guest rooms and everyday bedrooms. Choose this if you want a complete set and do not need an extra-deep pocket for a tall mattress or thick topper.
Limitation: The listed fit is up to 16 inches, so measure the mattress and any topper together before choosing it for a deeper bed.
CGK Extra Deep Queen Six-Piece Set
This queen set is designed for mattresses with depths of 18, 20, 21, 22, or 24 inches. Its fitted sheet has stretchable elastic around the edges. The six-piece set includes four pillowcases, and the product details describe the sheets as soft, cozy, and breathable. It is also presented as an option for mattresses with toppers or pillow tops.
Best for: Queen beds that exceed the 16-inch depth range of standard deep-pocket sets. It is a stronger match for tall mattresses or a mattress-and-topper combination, especially if you want four pillowcases.
Limitation: This is a queen-size set. Confirm both mattress size and total depth before ordering; a deep pocket does not make the sheet suitable for a different bed size.
Hearth & Harbor Extra Deep Queen Set
Hearth & Harbor’s six-piece queen set includes an extra-deep fitted sheet, a flat sheet, and four pillowcases. The fitted sheet measures 60 by 80 inches and is listed for mattresses 18 to 24 inches deep. The set uses microfiber described as double-brushed on both sides for softness.
Best for: Queen beds in the 18-to-24-inch depth range and households that need four pillowcases. Choose it over a 16-inch set when mattress height is the main fit concern.
Limitation: The stated depth range starts at 18 inches. For a mattress shallower than that, compare pocket depth and fit details carefully rather than assuming an extra-deep sheet will sit snugly.
CGK Extra Deep King Fitted Sheet
This product is a fitted sheet only, not a complete sheet set. It is listed for king mattresses 18 to 24 inches deep and has elastic around the edges. The brand describes the fabric as double-brushed and machine washable, with treatments intended to resist tearing, shrinking, wrinkling, staining, and fading.
Best for: King-bed owners who already have a flat sheet and pillowcases but need a fitted sheet for a tall mattress or topper.
Limitation: It does not include a flat sheet or pillowcases. Check your mattress dimensions as well as its depth, since this listing is for a king fitted sheet.
CGK Unlimited Queen Four-Piece Set
This queen set contains a fitted sheet, flat sheet, and two pillowcases. Its fitted sheet is listed for mattresses up to about 16 inches deep, and the product description says it can also fit mattresses shallower than that. The sheets are described as breathable, cool, and silky soft.
Best for: Queen beds up to about 16 inches deep when a complete four-piece set is preferred. It is also described for use in guest rooms, vacation homes, and RVs.
Limitation: This is not the extra-deep option for mattresses listed at 18 to 24 inches. Choose a deeper-pocket product if your measured setup exceeds its stated range.
Buying Guide: How To Choose Deep Fitted Sheets
How deep should a fitted sheet be?
Measure from the bottom of the mattress to its top surface, including any mattress pad or topper that will stay on the bed. Compare that total with the product’s listed depth range. A sheet rated up to 16 inches is a different fit category from one made for 18-to-24-inch mattresses.
Do you need a complete set or only a fitted sheet?
A complete set is practical when you need a flat sheet and pillowcases at the same time. The Utopia Bedding and both CGK queen sets include four pieces; the CGK extra-deep queen and Hearth & Harbor sets include six. The CGK king option is a fitted sheet only, so it suits shoppers replacing one bedding piece rather than furnishing a whole bed.
What should you compare besides pocket depth?
- Bed size: Match the fitted sheet to the mattress size, such as queen or king.
- Elastic: All-around elastic is noted on several listings and is intended to help secure the sheet.
- Set contents: Check pillowcase count and whether a flat sheet is included.
- Fabric description: The listed products use microfiber; descriptions mention qualities such as brushed softness, breathability, and wrinkle resistance.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does “deep pocket” mean for fitted sheets?
It describes a fitted sheet designed to cover a mattress of a specified thickness. Check the product’s depth range because “deep pocket” does not indicate one universal measurement.
Can a 16-inch sheet fit a mattress with a topper?
It may fit if the combined mattress and topper depth remains within the sheet’s stated limit. Measure the full setup before selecting a sheet.
Which options here fit mattresses 18 to 24 inches deep?
The CGK extra-deep queen set, Hearth & Harbor queen set, and CGK king fitted sheet are listed for mattresses in that depth range. Choose based on bed size and whether you need a full set.
Do all five products include pillowcases?
No. The CGK king product is a fitted sheet only. The other listed products include either two or four pillowcases, depending on the set.
